Serbian voice actor websites, Cyrillic and Latin, both shown.

Serbian uses both Cyrillic and Latin script, and speech differs between varieties. Your site should show both and say which you speak.

What a producer listens for.

What matters when someone is casting Serbian voice actors, and how the site answers it.

  1. Two scripts

Both are in daily use. Titles in each help local buyers.

  2. Ekavian or Ijekavian

The varieties differ. State which you speak.

  3. Not Croatian

Neighbouring standards differ. A label saves a wrong click.

How your reels are labelled.

Examples of the labels a producer sees before pressing play. Final labels are agreed with you.

  • Српски · Реклама
  • Srpski · Dokumentarni
  • Srpski · Sinhronizacija
  • Српски · Обука

What your site adds.

  1. Switching scripts without losing a producer

Offer the same transcript in Cyrillic and in Latin, so a Belgrade agency and a Zagreb-facing one can both read it.

  2. Ekavian in the booth, Ijekavian in the brief

A brief may ask for the western variant. Say whether you can switch and show a sample of each.

Questions, answered.

Something else? Ask it when you request a quote.

Which script should my reel titles use?

Both are normal. Use the one your target clients read, with the other beneath it.

Is Serbian different from Croatian on a reel?

Words and some sounds differ. A producer who needs one will not accept the other, so label yours.

Can a Serbian voice read Montenegrin or Bosnian briefs?

Only if you speak those standards naturally; otherwise say Serbian and leave the rest.

Your voice, heard first.
