Dutch voice actor websites, Netherlands or Flemish, stated.

Dutch is spoken in the Netherlands and in Flanders, and casting briefs say which. Your site should answer that before the first play, and show how you handle the je/u register.

What a producer listens for.

What matters when someone is casting Dutch voice actors, and how the site answers it.

  1. Je or u

Dutch copy addresses the listener formally (u) or informally (je). A commercial in je and a corporate film in u are different reads; keep a sample of each.

  2. Dutch or Flemish

The two accents are cast for their own audiences. A producer in Antwerp does not want a Randstad voice, and the reverse.

  3. Jobs that suit the market

Much Dutch-language television is subtitled, so briefs are often for commercials, corporate film, e-learning, audiobooks and children's dubbing. Lead with what you actually do.

How your reels are labelled.

Examples of the labels a producer sees before pressing play. Final labels are agreed with you.

  • Nederlands · Commercial
  • Vlaams · Commercial
  • Nederlands · Documentaire
  • Nederlands · E-learning

What your site adds.

  1. Pronouncing English in Dutch copy

Dutch scripts are full of English product names. A line showing how you handle them reassures a marketing team.

  2. Where the work is recorded

State whether you record in the Netherlands or Belgium and what your turnaround is for a short spot.

Questions, answered.

Something else? Ask it when you request a quote.

Should my reels use je or u?

Both, if you deliver both. Label each sample with the register so a producer can pick without asking.

Do Belgian clients want a Flemish voice?

Often, yes. If you can deliver a Flemish accent, give it its own sample; if not, say so.

Does the site need Dutch text?

A Dutch heading with an English line under it works for local and for international buyers.

Your voice, heard first.
